WATER CONSERVATION RESOURCES
Building our diets around GREEN-RATED foods is the most effective way to save water. Although each food has its own unique water footprint, and the standards of measurement can be controversial, there is no doubt that avoiding animal products, will dramatically reduce your personal water footprint. The need to keep animals watered and clean up their waste is part of the reason, but their high impact comes primarily from the inefficient calorie conversion from animal feed to animal product. The best way to conserve water is to stop consuming animal products, especially beef, and share this information with others.
