Building our diets around GREEN-RATED foods is an effective way to improve digestion and reverse numerous digestive conditions. Most of these foods are naturally high in fiber (which serves as a prebiotic for healthy gut bacteria) and are alkalizing (which helps balance body pH). However, if you are not used to eating beans, be aware that it can take a while for your body to adjust. In other words, if you don't take it slowly, the results can really stink. The best way to improve digestion is to stop consuming RED-RATED foods, eat unprocessed whenever possible, include small amounts of probiotic plants, drink plenty of water and don't worry about the protein.
