ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES
Building our diets around GREEN-RATED foods is the most effective way to protect the environment. Higher processed foods require more resources and generate more waste than foods that are prepared at home. This is particularly true for livestock, which require an animal to be fed, watered, housed, slaughtered, packaged and shipped as part of production. Animal products are also inefficient calorie converters that generate a significant amount of greenhouse gas emissions and waste. The best way to protect our environment is to stop consuming RED-RATED foods, especially beef, and share this information with others.
